This drinking establishment has had a torrid time over the last 18 months with a succession of licensees taking over the pub then moving out just a few weeks later. As such, you could never be sure if the place was going to be open when visiting. To add to it's woes, the public house advertised that it did not accept credit cards, such was the short term nature of the lets. Now thankfully, it appears a corner has been turned as Mick, Paula and family moved in recently for the long term. Credit cards are now welcome as are anyone wanting to bring their canine friends with them. This has always been a beautiful location to visit either by car or on a boat and thanks to Mick and Paula, we ca now once more include it on our must visit lists.
